As you approach, Stone Crest York is surrounded by terraced lawns on the crest above Ford’s Pond. As you pass through the large stone entrance pillars there are gardens with a gentle stream, waterfall, and patio to your right. Tall graceful hardwoods create a lush canopy as you cross the steam over an arched stone bridge and proceed past terraced lawns up to the house. There is a large patio at the top of the hill overlooking the pond with a large stone fire-pit where guests are often found roasting marshmallows and chatting around a roaring fire in the evening.

You enter the front doors to the house between four large two-story pillars on a covered front porch filled with white wicker, wrought iron and rocking chairs. In warmer months you are surrounded by palms, Boston ferns and urns of colorful flowers and foliage. The view from the front porch is beautiful York County farmland: rolling hills, magnificent tall hardwoods, and Ford’s Pond.

The focal-point of the house is a three-story marble floored courtyard with a huge stone fireplace, palm trees, and comfortable seating areas. Guest areas surround the courtyard and include the library with a comfortable formal sitting room with numerous books, a billiard room, 24-hour business center, gift shop, television room and fitness area. Just outside, on a private patio, is a Sundance® whirlpool with therapeutic jets. Cooked-to-order breakfast is served daily from 7 to 10 am. Guests are also welcome to enjoy all of the outdoor areas including the front porch, fire-pit patio, lower-garden meditation patio and waterfall patio and extensive grounds.
